About the Information Technology Program

The first decision you will make when entering the IT program is to select the Networking (Infrastructure) or Programming (Software Development/Engineering) track. The Networking track has a common first two semesters regardless of the concentration, as does the Programming track. There are only a few common courses between the Networking and Programming tracks; so, it is important to decide early on which track you wish to pursue. Information Technology (IT) program faculty and advisors can help you in making your choice.

We have partnered with many companies to offer our IT students current curriculum and certification support. We are a Cisco Networking Academy, Oracle Academic Academy,CompTIA, MeasureUp, Certiport, Microsoft Academic Alliance, MTA, MOS).

Our curriculum is mapped to certifications; and we provide tools such as practice exams, testing vouchers, and a testing center to make getting one or more industry-standard certifications while taking classes (ex. Cisco Certified Network Associate, A+, Network+, Microsoft Technology Associate,Oracle) a seamless integration into your coursework.
